Actual AKTU question papers — every exam slot we can get hold of, year after year. Not a syllabus PDF, not somebody's guess at what the university might ask. The papers themselves.

Every question gets pinned to your syllabus
Each question is tagged to a unit, a topic and a sub-topic, along with whether it appeared as a 2-mark, 7-mark or 10-mark question. This is the slow, unglamorous part, and it is the part nobody else has done.

How often a topic appears, which years it appeared in, how long since it was last asked, how many marks it usually carries. Out of that comes a ranking for every unit and every topic: repeated every year, overdue for a comeback, or never asked at all.

If something is marked as a previous-year question, it came out of a real paper in our data. Anything written for practice is labelled as practice. The two are never mixed, because the moment they are, every number on this page stops meaning anything.
We will not tell you Ark is never wrong.
It can be, and it says so under every answer. What it does instead is show you which notes and which past questions it used, so you can check it in one tap. An AI that shows its working is more useful than one that sounds certain.

Is AcademicArk free?

How do you decide which topics and questions are important?
By counting, not guessing. Real AKTU papers are read question by question, and every question is mapped to its unit and topic — so we can tell you how often a topic has appeared, in which years, and at which mark weight. Every priority on the site is a number out of that data, not somebody's opinion.
Will these questions come in my exam?
Nobody can tell you that, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What the analysis shows you is which topics repeat almost every year, which are overdue for a comeback, and which have never been asked — so you can decide where your last week goes. Anyone promising you the actual paper is guessing.
Is this an official AKTU website?
No. AcademicArk is an independent study aid with no affiliation to, or certification from, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Every document we generate says the same thing. Questions marked as previous-year questions come only from the papers we actually hold, and everything else is labelled as practice material.
Do you cover GATE?
Yes — GATE CS is live: 18 previous-year papers (2015–2026) with official answer keys, subject-wise weightage computed from those papers, a seeded predicted paper, and a revision strategy. The whole GATE lane works without an account. GATE is conducted by IIT Madras for 2027; AcademicArk is not affiliated with it. More papers are added as they are processed.
Is my subject covered?
Use the subject picker at the top of this page. It is generated from the live database rather than typed by hand, so every subject listed there already has its papers analysed and is ready to open. Subjects are added as their papers are collected and checked, semester by semester.
Can I download the notes and past papers?
Yes. On a free account you can download a document every few hours, and documents marked as locked open as an eight-page preview. A paid plan removes the wait completely and gives you the whole file.
How is Ark different from ChatGPT or Gemini?
It is not a claim that Ark is a cleverer model. The difference is what it has already read: your syllabus, your unit structure, your subject's past papers and the notes in the library are in front of it before you ask. That means you never paste context to get an exam-shaped answer. Ask a general chatbot the same question and you get a correct answer that has no idea what your paper asks.
Where do the notes and video lessons come from?
Notes and past papers are uploaded and reviewed by us, including scanned handwritten sets. Video lessons are publicly available lectures from established teachers on YouTube — Ark points you to the exact minute inside them and always credits the channel. We do not re-host anyone's video or republish a transcript as our own work.
